His Grace Oswald Gomes, the Archbishop of Colombo gave us the Shrine of Padre Pio at Athurugiriya in the outskirts of the city of Colombo. Our Friars promote the devotion to Padre Pio by daily Eucharistic celebration, Novena, Adoration and other Para-liturgical functions. The Archbishop of Colombo entrusted us the shrine of Padre Pio for 10 years by signing a solid agreement on April 30, 2008. It is the filial house to St. Francis Friary, Negombo.
