Fraternal Visit of the Friars to the Mission Land
A Journey of Listening, Reflection, and Preparation for the Future
Kandy – January 2026: A team of friars from the Mother Province, comprising Rev. Fr. Dominic Thekkemundackapadavil, Rev. Fr. Shyju Elamthuthiyil, and Rev. Fr. Shaji Kaniyaparambil, carried out an official fraternal visitation to the community in Kandy. This significant visit was organized as a vital part of the preparations for the forthcoming Extraordinary Provincial Chapter.
The primary purpose of their visit was to listen attentively to the opinions, concerns, and proposals of the friars regarding the life and mission of the province. Through open dialogue and fraternal discussions, the visitation successfully created a welcoming space for honest reflection and meaningful participation. This collaborative effort ensured that every voice contributes effectively to the ongoing renewal and the future vision of the Conventual Order.
