77th Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Fervor at Assisi Snehalaya

Coimbatore, January 26: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at the Assisi Snehalaya HIV/AIDS Charitable Home. The patriotic events commenced at 10:00 a.m., highlighted by the solemn hoisting of the national flag by the esteemed Chief Guest, Assistant Commander Mr. M. Raja of the Rapid Action Force (RAF 105).
The commemorative ceremony was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Army officers from the Madukkarai base, local Panchayat President Mrs. Kavitha, the Health Officer, and Prof. John from Sree Narayana Guru College. Their presence added to the significance and communal spirit of the day’s events.
The day’s proceedings were meticulously organized by the Master of Social Work (MSW) students, ensuring a seamless and engaging program for all who attended. Additionally, National Cadet Corps (NCC) students actively participated, bringing a strong sense of discipline and youthful energy to the celebrations.
The inspiring gathering successfully fostered a sense of unity and national pride among everyone present. The program concluded on a warm note with fellowship over high tea and snacks, with the gathering joyfully dispersing at 11:30 a.m.
