FIRY 3 – Children’s Retreat
A Transformative Spiritual Experience
20 May 2026, Karukutty :The three-day FIRY 3 Children’s Retreat, held from 18–20 May, concluded with remarkable success, drawing 136 students from various parts of Kerala. The retreat provided a profound spiritual experience and created a lasting impact on the young participants.
The programme featured a Eucharistic Celebration, Musical Adoration, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and inspiring sessions on contemporary topics relevant to students’ lives. These activities offered participants an opportunity for spiritual growth, reflection, and personal renewal.
The retreat was organized through the dedicated efforts of our friars: Fr. Sinto Thiruthel, Fr. Senet Kanjiraparambil, Fr. Frecin Kuriyedom, Fr. Jintesh Malickal, and Fr. Rajkumar Nelapati Mangaly. Their wholehearted commitment and tireless service contributed greatly to the success of the event. We extend our sincere gratitude to Rev. Sr. Anet and Rev. Sr. Rosemary for their invaluable support and dedicated assistance throughout the retreat.
As part of the Franciscan Year celebrations, a special Indulgence Prayer Service was also conducted. The students responded with deep faith and enthusiasm, and many experienced spiritual healing and freedom from inner wounds and emotional burdens.
We gratefully acknowledge the ASK Community for their generous support and collaboration, which played a significant role in making this retreat a meaningful and fruitful experience for all involved.
