Blessing and Inauguration of the Jubilee Guest Wing
Strategic Renovation Transforms Former Dormitory into Modern Hospitality Suite
Assisi Shanthi Kendra :Following a strategic decision by the Friary Chapter of ASK and with the formal approval of the Provincial Definitory, the community has successfully completed the renovation of the Jubilee Block. This project involved the sophisticated conversion of the existing dormitory into eight individual, self-contained guest rooms, specifically designed to enhance the friary’s hospitality capabilities.
The entire renovation was meticulously overseen by the friars of the ASK community, ensuring that every detail met the high standards of the Province. This modern upgrade reflects our commitment to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for those who visit our community.
The culmination of these efforts was celebrated on the birthday of Very Rev. Fr. Michael, Provincial. In the presence of representatives from various communities across the Province, the new wing was formally inaugurated. Fr. Alphonse performed the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon, while Fr. Michael presided over the blessing of the new rooms, dedicating the space to the service of the community and its guests.
