Malayattoor – February 27, 2026: The youth members of Youfra embarked on a solemn Lenten pilgrimage to the sacred heights of Malayattoor. Under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Senet Kanjiraparambil, the participants ascended the hill with profound devotion, carrying their personal intentions and heartfelt prayers. The ascent was beautifully marked by the prayerful recitation of the Way of the Cross, allowing the youngsters to meditate deeply on the Passion of Christ.
Adding to the spiritual resonance of the climb, the rhythmic chant of the traditional slogan, “Muthappo Ponmalakettam,” served as a powerful catalyst, harmonizing their physical exertion with their internal reflection. This pilgrimage served as the inaugural event of their Lenten observance, functioning as a vital spiritual preparation for the upcoming Holy Week. Through this collective act of penance and piety, the youth of Youfra have set a truly meaningful tone for their continued journey toward Easter.
