A Gift of Faith
New Statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary Installed and Blessed at the Grotto
June 2026, Kandy: – Our Franciscan Community was greatly blessed to receive a beautiful statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a generous gift from a devoted family. The statue was solemnly installed in our grotto and prayerfully blessed by Rev. Fr. Naveen in the presence of the community. This grace-filled occasion brought together the friars and faithful in prayer and thanksgiving, deepening devotion to the Blessed Mother. The community sincerely thanks the generous family for their thoughtful gift, praying that this sacred shrine remains a place of hope and spiritual inspiration for all who visit.
