14 June 2026, Karukutty: The much-awaited grand opening of the new football turf took place on Sunday, June 14, at 5:30 PM. The facility was officially inaugurated by the Honourable Minister Mr. Roji M. John, who served as the Chief Guest and delighted the gathered audience by kicking the ceremonial first goal. Immediately following the kickoff, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Earaly, alongside other priests from the community, conducted a solemn blessing service for the new turf, marking a joyous and grace-filled beginning for this new sports facility.
