Karukutty, India – October 4, 2025 – The Assisi Shanti Kendra (ASK) community celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi with devotion, joy, and fraternal warmth. The Transitus service on the eve was led by Rev. Fr. Provincial, setting a prayerful tone for the feast day. The following morning, Fr. Michael Earaly, Minister Provincial, presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration, inviting all to rediscover the simplicity and joy of the Gospel life that characterized the Saint of Assisi.
The day’s celebrations concluded with a festive lunch for the faithful and a thanksgiving dinner with priests and religious from neighbouring communities. The event radiated an atmosphere of Franciscan hospitality and communion, bearing witness to the living legacy of St. Francis—a legacy of peace, joy, and humble service to all.
