Assisi Shanthi Kendra – February 14, 2026: The friars hosted a transformative one-day retreat specifically designed for 65 students preparing for their upcoming examinations.Led by Friars Senet, Frecin, and Jintesh, the day was profoundly guided by the Holy Spirit, offering a welcoming spiritual sanctuary for students arriving from various regions.
The comprehensive program thoughtfully balanced high-energy engagement with deep reflection. It featured dynamic icebreakers, action songs, and empowering motivational talks aimed at bolstering the students’ academic confidence. Centered deeply on sacramental grace, the retreat also included the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, and a moving period of Eucharistic Adoration featuring specialized prayers and blessings for the students’ future success.
The participants described the experience as a truly “gifted moment,” expressing deep gratitude for the peace and clarity they received during the retreat. This successful initiative was made possible through the collective support of the entire ASK friary, with special recognition extended to Friars Jibin and Anto for their dedicated efforts in orchestrating this meaningful spiritual encounter.
