Feast of St. Francis of Assisi Celebrated
Eluru – October 4, 2025 – The community of St. Joseph of Cupertino Franciscan Ashram joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, their Father and Founder.
A solemn Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev. Fr. Limson, with Frs. Dominic and Sijo concelebrating. In his inspiring homily, Fr. Dominic reflected on St. Francis as a model of humility, simplicity, and universal love, inviting the community to embrace the Franciscan values of fraternity, peace, and joyful Gospel living.
The celebration was enriched by the presence of guests from various religious communities, whose participation added to the spirit of unity and shared devotion.
In the evening, the brothers presented a lively cultural programme featuring songs and dances, beautifully expressing the joy and simplicity at the heart of Franciscan life.
